Washington, D.C (Transatlantic Today) – The Chilean North American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Chile) has expressed concern regarding the legislative processing of the short isapres law and its potential impact on the health system’s future. With just days remaining before the Supreme Court’s deadline for compliance with the ruling on the table of factors in the isapres, AmCham Chile emphasized the need for urgent attention to the matter.

According to  Latercera, During the Joint Commission’s discussion of the brief Isapres law, AmCham Chile voiced its hope for expert unanimity. They called for changes to the current formula and underlined the importance of moving toward a comprehensive reform in the health system. The chamber stressed the necessity of retaining technical rigor and legal certainty when seeking long-term solutions.
