Moderator Georgi Leads Discussion With Eva Kaili On Morocco Gate

(Washington Insider Magazine) – New serious allegations have come to light through a report by the Belgian newspaper “De Standaard” about the much-lauded Qatar Gate case that has shocked the European Parliament.

In fact, the Belgians link the scandal with Morocco, as they reveal that Antonio Panzeri and Francesco Giorgi received specific amounts, 50,000 euros, for every negative vote on a human rights issue in the EU committees that, with their own influence, would have ended in a positive one!

Thus, according to the paper’s Dutch journalist, Andreas Hooverhofen, who spoke to Alpha’s main news bulletin, Pancheri and Giorgi had set up their own “business” within the Social Democratic Party, which many MEPs reportedly knew even from 2019.

According to the “De Standaard” report, Georgi has already submitted these to the Belgian authorities, even mentioning that his partner Eva Kaili knew about them!

Morocco Gate” is a new lobbying case that is expected to preoccupy European data and the European Parliament, as Rabat tried through the network it had developed through Pancheri and Giorgi to impose its “want” on the European Parliament. In fact, according to the Dutch journalist of “De Standaard”, the circuit had a specific “tariff” to block the negative resolutions in question and it amounted to 50,000 euros.

In order to support his arguments, the journalist referred to Giorgi’s testimony to the Belgian Authorities, where he admitted that the corresponding Moroccan Authorities asked him to influence the resolutions of the European Commission.

The Dutch investigative journalist revealed, at the same time, on Alpha TV that some knew – already before 2019 – about Giorgi’s activity in the Social Democratic Party, which raises several questions about what Eva Kaili claimed in her testimony, which stated that he saw black bags, but did not know their contents.

Hooverhofen noted that Giorgi was known for his “strange” behavior since 2019, yet he managed to influence all the European Union’s human rights resolutions.

In his interview, the journalist names Antonio Panzeri and Francesco Giorgi, who was working at the time for the former Italian MEP, as the main suspects for corruption.

Although Pantzeri stopped working for the European Parliament in 2019, Giorgi did not stop as he sought to become the Social Democrats’ “coordinator” for European Parliament resolutions on human rights.

A diplomat from Morocco reported that there were 147 resolutions against Rabat, which the particular network managed to block by gathering enough votes, not to proceed.

Qatar Gate: Kaili’s First Meeting With Her Daughter

Meanwhile, the Brussels prisons were visited by the two-year-old daughter of the woman involved in the Qatar Gate scandal, Eva Kaili, accompanied by her grandfather, on Friday afternoon (6/1)

It is noted that the MEP remains in custody in Haren women’s prison in Brussels, while today is the first meeting, lasting three hours, of her 23-month-old daughter with her mother since the day Eva Kaili was arrested and detained.

Mrs. Kaili had filed a request through her lawyers to be allowed to meet her two-year-old daughter, which was accepted by the Belgian judicial authorities and this afternoon this meeting became a fact.

The Decision of The Belgian Authorities to Allow The Visit

According to her advocate, Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, who spoke on an Alpha show explained the background behind the decision of the Belgian authorities to finally allow Eva Kaili to see her child for three hours in the presence of her father, Alexandros, the who has been taking care of his granddaughter since the day his daughter Eva Kailis was conceived.

“First of all, I want you to know that I do not appropriate this decision,” said Mr. Dimitrakopoulos initially, continuing: “I am not a person who will come out and say that I am the person who imposed this decision on the Belgian authorities. My opinion is that Amnesty International played a big role in this decision.”

As explained by the Greek lawyer of Mrs. Kaili, initially his client was not allowed to see her child as the authorities claimed that due to the strike by the prison officials it was not possible to do something like that at the moment, while he denied the reports that they wanted Eva Kaili not to wish to meet her daughter herself:

“It is not true that Eva Kaili did not want to see her child. I transfer the voice of Eva Kaili. The official information they had given is that it is a new prison which has not been adequately staffed. Many prison employees are on strike and precisely for these reasons there is currently no possibility for her to meet her child, because there are other prisoners who have priority over children. That’s what we heard.”
