Video footage shows a group of three people throwing kitchen knives and other store products at employees after being denied a purchase at a Harlem delicatessen, authorities said.
The trio became angry after their request to place an order with credit at the location was denied at Eleganza Gourmet Deli on Convent Avenue near West 127th around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
One of the individuals took a knife from the store counter while the others demanded money from the register, police said.
Then, total chaos ensued at the deli when the suspects began throwing and knocking over entire shelves of food, as well as throwing random items, including kitchen knives, at the clerk at the counter, according to reports. the video posted this Monday.
No one was injured during the incident, according to the New York Post.
Officials with the New York Police Department are still searching for the suspects.
