(Washington Insider Magazine) – Opening reservations for NYC Winter Outing 2023 will begin on January 10 and the program will run from January 17 to February 12, offering discounts on winter experiences in all five boroughs.

NYC & Company, the official destination advocacy organization and convention and visitor’s bureau for the five boroughs of New York City, announced that opening reservations for the NYC Winter Outing 2023 program will begin this 10 from January.

The NYC Winter Outing program will run from January 17 to February 12, offering discounts on winter experiences in all five boroughs, including NYC Restaurant Week prix-fixe menus at nearly 500 restaurants.

In addition, the program will offer 2-for-1 tickets to 22 NYC Broadway Week shows, and 2-for-1 tickets to more than 40 museums, attractions, tours and performing arts for NYC Must-See Week.

The NYC Hotel Week program, which is also part of the Winter Outing initiative, is offering 23% discounts on rates at more than 140 hotels through February 12.

“Whether you’re planning a staycation, a date night or a visit to our city, the NYC Winter Outing program has fantastic deals for everyone,” said New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

“By trying one of our world-renowned restaurants during NYC Restaurant Week, seeing one of our iconic Broadway shows at NYC Broadway Week, visiting one of thousands of unique attractions at NYC Must-See Week, or By staying at a hotel in the best city in the world during NYC Hotel Week, you are supporting the productive apparatus that keeps our city going,” Adams said.

Fred Dixon, president and CEO of NYC & Company, said the NYC Winter Outing program offers “extraordinary value” on a wide range of favorite experiences across the five boroughs, translating to additional sales for restaurants , attractions, theaters, small businesses and hotels during the slower period of winter.

This year’s program has the collaboration of transport companies such as United Airlines, as an official partner, Amtrak, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and NJ TRANSIT, as well as sponsor Mastercard.

NYC Restaurant Week 2023


NYC Restaurant Week will offer prix-fixe two-course lunches and three-course dinners for $30, $45 and $60 at nearly 500 restaurants across the five boroughs.

Mastercard cardholders who pre-register HERE will receive a $10 credit to their account when they spend $45 or more per transaction (up to 3 transactions, totaling $30 back) at participating NYC Restaurant Week restaurants.

2×1 in the NYC Broadway Week program

The NYC Broadway Week initiative will offer 2-for-1 tickets to 22 shows. New presentations this year include & Juliet; A Beautiful Noise, the Neil Diamond Musical; Between Riverside and Crazy, among others.

The shows that are back this 2023 are: Aladdin; Chicago; Funny Girl; hadestown; Harry Potter and the Cursed Child; Leopoldstadt; MJ The Musical; Moulin Rouge! The Musical; Six the Musical; The Book of Mormon; The Lion King; The Piano Lesson, and Wicked.

NYC Must-See Week Also With 2×1


The NYC Must-See Week initiative will offer 2-for-1 tickets to more than 40 museums, attractions, performing arts and guided tours. This year’s participants include Carnegie Hall, Citi Field Tours, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Kings County Distillery, Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York Botanical Garden, Summit One Vanderbilt, The Metropolitan Opera and many more.

23% Discount at NYC Hotel Week


The NYC Hotel Week program offers a 23% discount on standard rates now through February 12, at more than 140 hotels in the five boroughs.

Among the new hotels with the offer for this 2023 are: Hard Rock Hotel New York, Le Méridien New York and Fifth Avenue.

Returning hotels include: The Hoxton, Williamsburg; Lotte New York Palace; The Beekman, A Thompson Hotel; The Hoxton, Williamsburg; The Langham, New York, among others.

New York City’s tourism industry continues to rebound, with 56.4 million travelers visiting the five boroughs in 2022, 71.4% more than in 2021 (47.4 million domestic and 8.9 million international).
