USA (Washington Insider Magazine) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong rebuttal during his speech in the Lok Sabha was sharply rebutted by the Congress on Tuesday. The party emphasized that Modi had used the term “tumse na ho payega” and that, in the just finished general election, 140 crore Indians had sent the same message to his government.

  Modi’s Counterattack on Rahul Gandhi

According to Economictimes, Prime Minister Modi launched a fierce counterattack on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, mocking him as having a “childish mind” and accusing him of associating Hindus with violence and making false claims in the Lok Sabha. Modi called for stringent action against Gandhi to uphold parliamentary democracy.

 Long Debate on President’s Address

Responding to an extensive 18-hour debate on the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address, Modi asserted that Congress and its “ecosystem” were attempting to mislead people into believing that the BJP-led NDA was defeated, despite the voters giving his government a historic third-term mandate for stability and continuity.

 Kharge’s Strong Words

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized Modi for referring to the party as a “parasite” and claimed that the Prime Minister had previously used the term for farmers in 2021. Kharge stated, “The Dalits, Adivasis, backward, minority, and poor sections of this country voted against your slogan of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’ and said ‘tumse na ho payega’.”

 Women and Other Groups’ Discontent

Kharge further emphasized that every victimized woman, troubled by violence and oppression, had rejected the ‘Beti Bachao’ slogan, saying “tumse na ho payega.” He added that every lower and middle-class family voted against the promise of ‘good days’ and that millions of small traders, impacted by economic policies, also expressed their discontent with “tumse na ho payega.”

 Call to Understand Public Sentiment

Kharge concluded by urging Modi to respect the public mandate and abandon what he described as a dictatorial approach, stating, “Modi ji, you have insulted the mandate. Understand the sentiments of the people, give up dictatorship!”
