“CBP officers searched a train entering from Mexico and discovered a compartment in a railroad car containing approximately 736,200 fentanyl pills and 196 pounds of methamphetamine,” Michael Humphries, CBP director at the CBP, said on his Twitter account. Nogales port.

The official added that the drug, distributed in various packages sealed with cinnamon tape, was hidden in a compartment in the lower column of the train, so no detainees were reported.

In addition to this seizure, border agents found two other shipments of fentanyl that were transported in two different vehicles. According to Humphries, 152,400 pills were hidden in one of the cars, while 148,000 pills were found in the other unit.
