WASHINGTON (Washington Insider Magazine)- Is Nuclear War Overrated is a challenging concept. Some nuclear weapons may be overrated in the sense that they occupy a large amount of space in defense security. Although many of them are fantastic due to many reasons while others aren’t. They will often distract everyone from much more complex issues like warfighting.
If a country has nuclear weapons it can lead to a nuclear war. These issues have dominated international diplomacy for many decades. The USA has designed the doctrine in such a way that it has a lot of potential for atomic Warfare. It is very much evident since the first half of the cold war.
Use Of Nuclear Weapons
The US is successful in creating carrier aircraft and delivering nukes successfully. It is not surprising that the system of fleet air defense has seen so many changes overnight. The concerns of a nuclear attack are a big pressure for every country.
This is why the US has built an Air force that focuses on the idea of strategic nuclear offense. These roots are coming into the Soviet Union as well. Usually, the army is supposed to carry out many such activities. Moreover, they take care of nukes in the NATO-Warsaw pact.
Since World War 2 things seem to have changed. The use of nuclear-armed weapons against non-nuclear opponents is on the rise. Due to the complexity of political matters may have to face a negative impact on their employment.
There is no doubt that the United States has a wide range of resources on the level of national missile defense. The current system involves Aegis sea-based interceptors and Ground-Based Midcourse. These systems are focused on ballistic missile attacks. However, it can reduce the damage done to civilian areas.
Right now the problem lies within the National Missile Defense. There is no way any country will attempt a nuclear attack on the US. They can protect their country from rockets and other deadly weapons.
Killing Millions Of Civilians Doesn’t Seem Like A Good Idea
No matter how hard countries like North Korea try, killing millions of civilians is not a good idea. Every country will try to go against this thought and prevent a new World War from occurring. In case of a global war, there will be massive destruction. Sometimes an intense response or retaliation for a certain strike can lead to bad results.

The nuclear forces cannot afford to take on each other. However, the only vulnerable country will be someone that has no nuclear weapons. It is not surprising that a modern nuclear country has never invaded another such country. There is no doubt, possessing nuclear power is the only way to protect your country from such threats.
Nuclear war may not happen now or in the coming years, but there is always a danger ahead. Many countries with nuclear power can have their eyes on a smaller country. For now, the situation seems stable though as everyone works together to stop this destruction.
Is Nuclear War inevitable?
The issues with the nuclear war are leading to a lot of trouble. For now, Ukraine manages to hold Russians in many key areas. However, the destruction is at a wider scale from the Russian army. Putin doesn’t seem to move away and is planning to conquer every part of Ukraine. The use of (50KT-150KT) against Ukrainian is making things worse.
Europe doesn’t seem to be happy with the overall situation and trying to help Ukraine. In the meantime, NATO is taking action and has asked Ukraine to become a part of it. They are working their way out to bring some humanitarian relief to the civilians in Ukraine.
Currently, Russia is ignoring all the threats they have in mind. They continue to come up with the use of tactical nukes. NATO is making its way by imposing a no-fly zone over Ukraine and Russian territory. For now, nuclear war isn’t inevitable as everyone works against it.
The United States can play a bigger role in preventing such disasters from happening. It may not matter if Ukraine or Russia is right, what matters is to prevent the war hysteria. World War three shouldn’t happen and this is what many countries are trying to prevent. Japan is a reminder of what nuclear weapons can do.
They don’t normally retaliate though and will follow the same approach in the future. Other countries like Pakistan, US, UK, Russia, and China have nuclear powers. If an attack on each other happens, no one can be a clear winner in the end.
