USA (Washington Insider Magazine)—Donald Trump celebrated Christmas Day by posting a video compilation of his festive presidential speeches. However, it came along with spending hours yelling about the 2024 election. His legal anguish and posting a seasonal greeting that his adversaries“rot in hell.”
The ex-president released an online flood of fury and anger, mainly over his legal difficulties, spanning Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
According to reporters, his actions during the festive season previewed the divisive and self-centered course he might bring to the table in the 2024 election year, which could affect the nation’s future.
“THEY SPIED ON MY CAMPAIGN, LIED TO CONGRESS, CHEATED ON FISA, RIGGED A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, ALLOWED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE, MANY FROM PRISONS & MENTAL INSTITUTIONS, TO INVADE OUR COUNTRY, SCREWED UP IN AFGHANISTAN, & JOE BIDEN’S MISFITS & THUGS, LIKE DERANGED JACK SMITH, ARE COMING AFTER ME, AT LEVELS OF PERSECUTION NEVER SEEN BEFORE IN OUR COUNTRY??? IT’S CALLED ELECTION INTERFERENCE. MERRY CHRISTMAS!” Trump wrote.
Trump’s latest message is a 113-word post on Truth Social. “Merry Christmas to all, including Crooked Joe Biden’s ONLY HOPE, Deranged Jack Smith, the out of control Lunatic who just hired outside attorneys, fresh from the SWAMP (unprecedented!), to help him with his poorly executed WITCH HUNT against ‘TRUMP’ and ‘MAGA,’” the former president expressed.
“MAY THEY ROT IN HELL,” Trump said Monday afternoon. “AGAIN, MERRY CHRISTMAS!”
Additionally, he criticized a Colorado ruling that had stopped him from the race, arguing that “most of the crazed Radical Left Lunatics” decided that the state’s choice was “political delusion.”
The holiday greeting was also pointed at world leaders, “both good and bad,” and the “sick” thugs at home “looking to destroy our once great USA. MAY THEY ROT IN HELL. AGAIN, MERRY CHRISTMAS!”
Looking forward to next year, Mr Trump will confront four criminal trials carrying 91 felony counts and his presidential campaign.
Mr Trump’s legal team is pushing concerted efforts to delay or discharge the cases. On Saturday, his lawyers requested an appeals court to dismiss the 2020 federal election interference case against him on presidential immunity backdrops.
The Truth Social statement, reading like an imperfect Latin translation, referenced Smith beefing up his legal team with the recent addition of Michael Dreeben, who has pleaded before the Supreme Court more than 100 times. After three decades at the DOJ, Dreeben went into private practice with O’Melveny & Myers in 2020. But he’s now served as the “counsel of record” for Smith’s election interference case against Trump in D.C.
Trump also sought a Christmas list of familiar targets, like taxes, the “Woke Military,” and “INFLATION,” which is entirely down. A key inflation measure—Personal Consumption Expenditures—is down to 1.9% over the last six months, below the Federal Reserve’s 2% target.
Trump also name-checked “Russia/Ukraine,” where the former president plans to “solve” the war by not approving any additional military aid for Ukraine and pressuring Ukraine to “make a deal,” which would entail Ukraine passing over some region to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
