Pakistan (Washington Insider Magazine) – Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, has confirmed that visa challenges for Pakistanis remain unresolved, despite the UAE’s amnesty scheme ending on October 31.

During GITEX Global 2024, he revealed that many Pakistani IT professionals and startup owners are facing visa rejections, as the UAE now prioritizes highly skilled workers over traditional laborers.

While UAE officials previously denied any visa restrictions, the growing number of rejections highlights a shift in employment policies favoring specialized talent. Tirmizi urged Pakistanis to develop emotional intelligence and organizational skills to align with the UAE’s evolving job market.
