US (Washington Insider Magazine) – Virtually, Cristian Castro and Diego Verdaguer joined their voices to produce a new version of the song “Corazón de Papel”.
“It is an honor for me to perform this duet with my favorite Argentine, he was always very affectionate and creative. We have a lifelong friendship,” Castro said about the singer-songwriter, who died in January 2022 at the age of 70.
The interpreter of “La Ladrona” recorded the song, the same on which Castro, 48, contributed his vocal talent.
For their part, Amanda Miguel and Ana Victoria Verdaguer, aware of the importance of this posthumous release, decided to premiere the video of Diego and Cristian during the concert they will give today at the National Auditorium as part of their Siempre Te Amaré tour, their way of honor the memory of the Argentine.
“I really liked this duet, it’s very beautiful, it definitely surprised me. I think Cristian can sing anything”, mentioned the interpreter of “Mi Buen Corazón”.
“This duet represents an achievement and it fills me with pleasure to know that great artists want to be part of the tribute album that we are preparing for them,” said Ana Victoria, daughter of the popular couple of artists.
It was anticipated that the video for “Corazón de Papel” has a very creative work, as it will show various moments of the singers combined with animated figures, ensuring an original and unusual result.
The theme is authored by Verdaguer, Amanda Miguel and Graciela Carballo; at the time it reached the first places of popularity, which made it a classic.
