Mike has been in the U.S. Senate since January 3, 2007, after serving in the Idaho House of Representatives from January 3, 1995, to January 3, 2003. He is the only member of the U.S.
Senate who has served in both the Idaho House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. He is also the only Senator to have served in the Idaho House of Representatives and the Idaho Senate at the same time. He is a member of the Republican Party. He is the son of Rex and Betty Crapo.
Biography
Mike Crapo was born on May 20, 1951, in Twin Falls, Idaho. He is the son of Marion (née Neumann) and Clark Crapo. His father was a successful businessman and his mother was a teacher.
