Isreal Iran War? Iran Drops Key Israeli Target Locations, Transatlantic Today

(Washington Insider Magazine) -Is an Isreal Iran war on the frontier? Iranian officials have published a list of sites that could be the target of successful attacks. Key locations include the Prime Minister’s primary residence(s), key locations of officials, and major international airports.

The list has been confirmed to be published by media outlets closely tied to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Israeli officials have commented on the list, claiming it is a threat from the Iranian government. The published list is the first time that Iranian officials have shared future plans for warfare.

The list also indicates that Iranian proxies could target major civilian airports, including Ben-Gurion airport in Tel Aviv – Yafo.

The threat on Ben-Gurion is comparable to attacks by the Palestinian resilience group, Hammas, who targeted Ramon airport.

Several Iranian-backed groups have made similar threats including the Lebanon-based Hezbollah.

Analysts note that the list intended for Israel is meant as a threat and should be taken seriously by Israeli officials.

The main purpose of the list is to show that Iranian forces have the sources to successfully carry out military attacks on the sites.

Iran has continued to warn Israel of its military capabilities. Most recently, an Iranian commander reported that the military had developed a long-range drone specifically to raid major cities like Tel Aviv and Haifa. The nations have responded with military demonstrations to assert regional confidence and ability.

Israeli officials have combated this stating that its military had removed almost 90 percent of Iran’s military capabilities in Syria through routine airstrikes.

Israel has also continued to remind Iran of its strong military capabilities, including most recently, when Israel’s military chief officer stated that Israel would soon try to enrich Uranium up to a weaponized level.

According to a report by the Iranian news agency (ISNA), the country had started to enrich Uranium to up to 60% purity at the Fordow fuel powerplant. The plant is a Uranium enrichment facility located near Qom, Iran’s most northern city.

The military intelligence chief has also stated that Iran has now enriched enough Uranium for at least four nuclear bombs.

However, Israeli politician Tzachi Hanegbi said that government officials are looking to take measures to destroy the Iranian facilities to derail Iran’s military capabilities with the prospect of an Israel/Iran war.
