During a morning pursuit of a robbery suspect in Troy, New York, Norbi and his supervisor became involved in the capture of a suspect, the Times Union reported.
While trying to apprehend the subject in a wooded area, the man stabbed Norbi with a knife, however the police dog managed to bite the suspect in the legs before being attacked.

Norbi was immediately transferred to a vet for critical medical attention. Despite having been stabbed 12 times, the resilient Belgian Malinois demonstrated his strength by leaving the medical center later that day alongside his dedicated police.
