A 26-year-old man was found dead with a gunshot wound in the passenger seat of a parked car yesterday afternoon in the Bronx (NYC).
The unidentified victim was found in a Honda CRV on Union Ave. near E. 168th St. in Morrisania around 2:20 p.m. Monday, according to NYPD.
He was shot in the abdomen and pronounced dead at the scene. Police later determined the victim had been shot about a half mile away, on E. 163rd St. near Reverend James Polite Ave. in the Longwood neighborhood. Someone then led the injured man to the location where he was found dead, the Daily News reported.
His name was withheld as police worked to locate his family and determine the motive for the crime. No arrests have been made or suspects identified.
