Israel (Washington Insider Magazine)— The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Monday that four Palestinian civilians were killed and over 65 injured in the occupied West Bank since Friday. The fatalities and injuries were attributed to gunfire from Israeli forces and settlers, highlighting a worsening cycle of violence in the region.

According to the ministry, the recent incidents add to a grim toll of at least 464 Palestinians killed and over 4,800 wounded in the West Bank since October 7. The majority of injuries in the latest period were caused by live ammunition, raising concerns about the excessive use of force.

Escalating Violence in the West Bank

The occupied West Bank has witnessed a sharp increase in confrontations in recent months. Clashes between Israeli settlers, military personnel, and Palestinians have surged, with civilian casualties mounting. Humanitarian organizations have called for restraint to prevent further escalation.

The Health Ministry’s statement on Telegram emphasized the need for international intervention, noting the toll on civilians and the growing humanitarian crisis in the region.

As tensions persist, global calls for de-escalation and accountability continue to grow, urging all parties to prioritize the protection of civilians and adherence to international law.
