Iran Nuclear Deal Talks Continue in Middle East

Iran (Washington Insider Magazine)-Leaders of Egypt hosed a three-way peace summit about upcoming Iran Nuclear Deal agreements between Egypt, United Arab Emirates and Israel leaders last weekend. Previous talks regarding the Iran Nuclear Deal were far less effective, making this meeting overwhelmingly productive and positive.

The three world leaders from middle east ern countries gathered this week to discuss the resurrection of Tehran’s landmark nuclear deal and the implications of the war in Ukraine.

Talks focused on the goal of easing tension between the countries through peaceful negotiations.

Egypt’s President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, announced that the three leaders discussed energy, market stability, and food security earlier this month. However, the talks at this meeting went much deeper in light of recent global developments.

Egypt hopes to strengthen the ties between the three countries in response to the
problems the war in Ukraine has brought to Egypt. Due to the onset of war in Ukraine, Egypt has faced economic struggles concerning energy and food trade with Russia and Ukraine.

As a result, the Egyptian pound has dropped by 14%. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine caused foreign investors to revoke their money from Egypt’s money markets, resulting in a drop in value and a need for assistance.

Presently, Egypt, UAE, and Israel have formed an informal alliance between each country after ties with Israel regenerated normalcy with the United Arab Emirates.

Since 1979, Egypt and Israel have successfully worked together after decades of turmoil. Egypt has been in correlation with Israel on security measures, control of access to the Gaza Strip, and maintaining security on the Hamas-run Palestinian territory.

The power meeting between the three countries sparked conversations regarding the push toward Iran’s revival of Tehran’s landmark nuclear deal. Although the reports include the United States in talks of the revival, Israel fervidly opposes such an idea.

The discussion moved towards restarting the nuclear deal in exchange for limiting Iran’s stockpile of uranium, but the United States continues to hold
its diplomatic relations with Egypt, strengthening its shared security.

For the past 11 months, Iranian officials have remained silent in the negotiation process but now have, as a result of this meeting, voiced their stand against limiting Iran’s shielding power, geographical location, and advancement in nuclear technology.
